Anna’s Bananas is a group created to support Anna Wasson (mother, wife, nurse, friend) in her fight against stage four lung cancer. She was diagnosed in July 2021 and needless to say, her life has been turned upside down. An excerpt from her CaringBride website written by her husband says, “Isaiah 43:2 ‘When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.’ … God continues to prove Himself faithful by showing us how He provides and how He loves us even when we feel like we’re forgotten. He never forgets us. He sees us. He hears us. He will not allow the waters to sweep over us.”
