Fundraiser Benefiting WAW Pet Recovery of Blair County

Our recovery mission is to support our Blair County community and the surrounding areas through dedicated pet recovery efforts—ultimately assuring people who find stray animals or those families with missing pets that through compassionate outreach, skill, dedication, and teamwork, their beloved pets can come home safely.

Our comprehensive recovery efforts and services include:

• Online Support: Instructional information on what to do when a pet goes missing and best practices for pet sightings
• Field Operations: The recovery team travels to and from feeding stations, ensuring lost animals have access to food and care
• Community Outreach: Printing and hanging flyers to maximize recovery efforts and raise awareness
• Trap Management: Setting up and maintaining humane traps and Missy traps (oversized traps that can be used remotely)
• Surveillance: Strategic use of outdoor cameras to track and locate missing pets
• Digital Engagement: Countless hours devoted to maintaining our Facebook page, keeping the community informed and connected
• Community Networking: Active presence in the community, talking to people and following up on leads to recover missing or stray pets

These funds are essential because we are donation-based only. We do not charge service fees to the people in our community when helping to recover these animals. This is something we see as a need not only for the community but for the animals. We solely rely on donations from compassionate supporters like you to continue this vital work.
